The scuba diving is excellent. Three dive shops cater to small dive groups. Many favorite reefs are just 5-10 minutes by boat from Akumal Bay. Snorkeling is fantastic, too -- Half Moon Bay and nearby Laguna Yal Ku offer sea turtles and other sea life to discover. Sea turtles nest on the beach in front of the condo.
